CONSTELLATION CAPITAL AG announces oversubscription at the hard-cap on their Fund VII
Freienbach, 4. May 2026
CONSTELLATION CAPITAL AG („CONSTELLATION“), a Swiss-based private equity firm focused on asset-light businesses in the DACH region, is pleased to announce that CONSTELLATION VII¹ has successfully raised €200 million, hitting its hard cap and coming in significantly oversubscribed.
Fund VII attracted strong demand from both existing and new investors, reaching its fundraising target within just four months. The successful fundraise provides CONSTELLATION with additional capital to continue executing its proven investment strategy, building on the momentum of its predecessor fund, Fund VI (2023, €90 million).
Consistent with its established approach, Fund VII will target majority investments in small-cap companies across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, focusing on asset-light business models and pursuing a disciplined Buy & Build strategy. CONSTELLATION has developed a strong local presence and deep relationships with founders and entrepreneurs, with a focus on primary transactions where it acts as the first institutional investor. The firm’s team of 12 investment professionals is led by Rainer Fröhlich, Stefan Jochum, and Louis Theiler. In recognition of his valuable contributions to the successful completion of the fundraise, Louis Theiler will be promoted to Principal.
Fund VII attracted commitments from a diverse base of global institutional investors, complemented by continued support from long-standing investors within CONSTELLATION’s network of highly regarded entrepreneurs, underscoring the strong track record of its prior funds.
Rainer Fröhlich, Founder and Partner at CONSTELLATION, commented:
“We place a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship and on partnering with exceptional founders and management teams. We are grateful for the continued support from leading institutional investors and our longstanding network of entrepreneurs, and we are encouraged by the strong demand for Fund VII.”
Asante Capital Group acted as exclusive global fundraising adviser, while LAB Partners served as lead external counsel.
