CONSTELLATION Clean GmbH and GUV GmbH join forces

Freienbach, 20. January 2025

CONSTELLATION Clean GmbH (“CC”) joins forces with GUV Gesellschaft für Geohydraulik, Umweltberatung, Verfahrens- und Ingenieurtechnik mbH (“GUV”). The acquisition of the specialized planning and engineering firm for public drinking water infrastructure completes CC’s group strategy as a comprehensive provider for water and air hygiene and represents another important step in CC’s growth strategy with locations in Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Baden-Wuerttemberg.

GUV, based in Lohfelden, has developed into a regionally leading service provider since its foundation in 1996, offering planning, consulting, and engineering services for the public water industry, particularly for drinking water supply. With a team of 30 employees, GUV addresses the entire value chain of drinking water supply and maintenance of public drinking water infrastructure, covering all relevant steps from water sourcing to treatment, storage, and subsequent distribution. With long-standing customer relationships – some lasting over 25 years – GUV enjoys an excellent reputation among its public sector clients.
With the addition of GUV, CC expands its field of activity to include public drinking water supply, thus complementing its service portfolio in water and air hygiene. The merger enables CC to establish a market presence in three economically strong federal states through the new locations, strengthens its position as a comprehensive provider of services in the field of water and air quality, and opens access to public sector clients, creating immediate cross-selling potential.

Martin Hobl, co-founder and managing director of GUV, shares the group’s strategic vision and will remain in his role to ensure the continued growth of both CC and GUV as part of CC. Carsten Heinecker, the second co-founder, will support the transition to his successor, Sascha Leck, and will continue as an advisor until the end of 2025, ensuring that the extensive expertise also remains available within GUV in the long term. Both co-founders reinvest a substantial stake in the group.
