Bike Evasion Sports SA joins forces with Swiss E-Mobility Group AG

From 01 April 2021, Bike Evasion will be integrated into the m-way retail chain belonging to the group. As part of an asset deal transaction, the previous owner decided to sell Bike Evasion to SEMG. Bike Evasion was founded in 1994 and has developed into the largest e-bike dealer in Valais.

Bike Evasion’s founder, Dominique Crettenand, will remain with the group as an advisor to enable a seamless integration of Bike Evasion into SEMG. For the time being, Bike Evasion will continue to operate under its brand. Initial integration efforts will focus on back-end business processes, including IT systems and logistics and procurement processes.

The integration of Bike Evasion into SEMG will result in a win-win situation for both parties. While Bike Evasion benefits from SEMG’s digitalisation, systems and extensive product portfolio, SEMG gains a competent sales force and a brand that is well-known in the region. In addition, Bike Evasion attracts neighbouring French customers.

The acquisition of Bike Evasion fits perfectly into SEMG’s growth strategy to strengthen its position as a leading e-bike dealer in Switzerland. The acquisition will further expand SEMG’s branch network with over 30 shops in all regions of Switzerland.
