ARCA Holding GmbH, Exportverpackung Sehnde GmbH and Export Pack Polska Sp. Z o.o join forces
Freienbach, 31. December 2024
ARCA Holding GmbH (“ARCA”) announces the Group’s strategic investment in Exportverpackung Sehnde GmbH (“EVS”) and Export Pack Polska Sp. z o.o. (“EPP”). The investment in EVS & EPP (“EVS Group”) represents a significant step in ARCA’s growth strategy and marks the regional expansion into Northern Germany and Poland.
The family business EVS, founded in 1858, now has 120 employees and operates sites in Sehnde and Hanover. From its origins as a manufacturer of wooden crates and other packaging materials, the company has now developed into a modern logistics company, providing extensive packaging services. EPP was founded in 2014 in Zabrze, Poland, as a sister company of EVS with the aim of applying the expertise gained in Germany in the production of packaging materials and the provision of packaging and other logistics services to the Polish market. EPP is currently the production site of the EVS Group and additionally supplies many other packaging companies in Germany. Thanks to its process expertise and production capacities, the EVS Group offers significant synergy potential through the integration of other regional market players.
EVS & EPP will be seamlessly integrated into ARCA, while retaining their independent brand and market presence. The EVS Group Managing Directors, Matthias Duensing, Marco Schleitzer and Lukasz Pietrzyk, are in line with the Group’s strategic vision and will remain in their roles within the company. The sellers, Björn and Thorben Scharnhorst, are reinvesting a substantial stake in the Group and will contribute their expertise in new roles as Integration Managers for the ARCA Group. This will ensure a smooth transition and pave the way for the continued growth of the EVS Group as part of ARCA.
