ARCA Holding GmbH and PLC Westerwald GmbH & Co. KG join forces

ARCA Holding GmbH (“ARCA”) announces the Group’s strategic investment in PLC Westerwald GmbH & Co. KG (“PLC”). The investment in PLC represents a significant step in ARCA’s growth strategy and marks the expansion of ARCA’s regional footprint around Peter Gomber GmbH.

Founded in 2008, PLC is a dynamic company with 16 employees and is based in Bannberscheid, Rhineland-Palatinate, less than 5km from Peter Gomber GmbH. With a holistic product portfolio, PLC offers its services around the product wooden packaging and the associated dispatch processing. PLC is a specialist in the field of export packaging, packaging materials and load securing systems and thus creates significant synergy potential with Peter Gomber GmbH through the expansion of the product portfolio in addition to their regional proximity and is an optimal addition to the local site.

PLC will be seamlessly merged into Peter Gomber GmbH to benefit from a common brand and market presence. The founder and Managing Director of PLC, Mark Gutberlet, will reinvest into the group and take on a new role as an authorised signatory of Peter Gomber GmbH alongside his well-known business partner Franz Schuler. This will secure the long-term succession of the two companies and ensure a smooth integration, continuing PLC’s growth trajectory as part of ARCA and the local location in Rhineland-Palatinate.
