ARCA Holding GmbH and APL Paletten GmbH join forces

ARCA Holding GmbH («ARCA») announces the Group’s strategic investment in APL Paletten GmbH («APL») through its subsidiary Exportverpackung Sehnde GmbH («EVS»). The investment in APL represents a significant step in the growth strategy of ARCA and EVS. It also marks the expansion of their presence in the North Rhine-Westphalia, a region considered an important industrial location with numerous small- and medium-sized companies.

APL, based in Bad Sassendorf, was founded in 2011 and employs eight people. Since its foundation, APL has specialized in the production of special pallets and transport packaging. The wide range of products includes disposable pallets as well as chemical pallets, Euro mesh boxes and wooden packaging. APL thus primarily serves the iron and metal processing industry and optimally complements the EVS portfolio.

APL will be seamlessly integrated into EVS and ARCA, while maintaining the usual quality and service continuity for existing and new customers. The previous owner of APL, Jörg Otte, decided to sell the company in order to focus more on his other business activities and will leave the company after a transition period. The local management will be continued by the existing authorized signatory and sales manager Markus Hoppe, supported by the management of EVS to ensure a smooth transition.
