Altera Facility Solutions GmbH and DAV Gebäudeservice GmbH join forces

DAV Gebäudeservice GmbH (“DAV”) is a regionally leading provider of infrastructural facility management services, headquartered in Bielefeld. Founded in 1930 and managed by the third generation of the founding family, the company specializes in routine and specialist cleaning, floor restoration, and facility services for industrial, commercial, and administrative properties. Through long-standing client relationships, experienced employees, and a high degree of digitalization, the company can offer efficient and high-quality services that meet individual client needs.

The market for infrastructural facility management is growing steadily, is largely independent of economic cycles, and is characterized by a highly fragmented structure of local, owner-managed businesses that are increasingly facing succession challenges. At the same time, digitalization, the use of robotics and AI, quality assurance, and process professionalization are gaining further importance within the sector, as clients seek reliable, scalable, and professionally managed service partners.

With the acquisition of DAV, CONSTELLATION CAPITAL, through its fund CONSTELLATION VII, lays the foundation for Altera Facility Solutions GmbH (“Altera”), a facility management platform. DAV will continue to operate independently in the market and, as the founding company of Altera, will play a central role within the group. Oliver Davidsohn, Managing Director and shareholder of DAV, is staying on board, acquiring a stake in Altera as part of the transaction and actively contributing to future group growth.
